What can I say?
What should I say?
It's been a crazy year. Of excitement, of let downs, of fights, of make ups, of anger, of happiness.
But it's over now.
The final Premium High Five band practice will be sometime next week. We'll play some tuneskies, eat some food (yea, everyone, bring some food), and generally (hopefully) have a good time. After that, we're hoping to find like a party or something where we can play our songs one first and last time. After all, it has been a year, it'd be nice to show a little something.
While it may be sort of a let down, it was a fun year, and when we weren't screaming at each other, I think we had an awesome time as a band. But when it all comes down to it, we weren't too functional, we can't get anything done, and I, as well as most others, think it's time to admit this isn't working and move on to other things.
There are no hard feelings. Basically the last few months have been a gradual and mutual downhill slide in morale and optimism, so this isn't much of a shock. And everyone in the band still rocks my socks hardcore. I have no plans of stopping hanging out with anyone. We shall just no longer be in a band.
I'd also like to thank the few fans we had for their support, which was offered in the rare opportunities in which they could.
In short: You guys rock, we're all still unbelievably sex-ay, and look out for newer stuff from familiar folks comin at you in 05.
Its been real,
Bass Master Alex
